Arteriovenous Malformation Study

The NY Islands AVM Study is an ongoing epidemiological survey to determine the frequency of AVMs and AVM hemorrhage in a defined population. This study is part of the AVM Study Group which is conducting several NIH-funded projects to determine the natural history and treatment outcome in AVM patients. The Columbia University AVM Database is one of the largest prospective datasets in the world collecting clinical, morphological and treatment-related data on AVM patients.
